What to Pack for a 3-Day Trip
A simple packing system for a short trip without bringing your entire room.

For three days, pack around two complete outfits, one flexible layer, comfortable shoes and the essentials you would hate to replace. The goal is options, not outfit-per-day math.
The short list
Take three tops, two bottoms, underwear and socks for each day plus one spare, sleepwear, a light layer, toiletries and any medication you need.
Make it easy on yourself
Wear the bulkiest shoes and jacket while travelling. Put chargers and documents somewhere reachable, and check the weather before adding “just in case” items.
Use the three-question test
Before packing an item, ask: will I use it, can I share it, and would replacing it be difficult? If the answer is no to all three, leave it at home. Your future self will not miss carrying an emergency outfit for an imaginary event.
Keep a small travel pouch
Put your passport or ID, cards, medication, charger, headphones and a pen in one pouch. Keep it in your personal bag rather than your checked luggage. This makes airports, buses and hotel check-ins much less chaotic.
Final packing checklist
Check the weather, confirm your luggage allowance, charge your devices and take a photo of important documents. Then stop packing. Overthinking is how a three-day trip turns into a suitcase boss battle.
Documents and tech
Keep your ID, booking details, charger, power bank and medication in your personal bag. Download tickets and maps before leaving Wi-Fi, then take a screenshot of anything you may need at a station or airport.
