How to Stop Comparing Yourself to Everyone Online
A realistic way to stop turning someone else's highlight reel into evidence that your life is behind.

Comparing yourself online is basically your brain doing unpaid detective work on a stranger’s best twelve seconds. The feed is edited, filtered, and strategically posted. It is not the full lore.
Notice the trigger
Do you spiral after seeing a perfect room, relationship, body, or career update? Name the trigger instead of letting it quietly run the show.
Change the feed, not your entire personality
Mute accounts that make you feel permanently behind. Follow people who teach, make you laugh, or remind you that normal life is not an aesthetic failure.
Use comparison as information
Ask what the post is showing you that you want: more creativity, better routines, new friends, or a change of scene. Take the useful clue and drop the self-drag.
The bottom line
Your life is not losing because someone else posted first. Log off, do one thing that belongs to you, and let your timeline stop writing your self-worth.
